Message Have you checked for codes in the ECU? Any check engine light on?

Have you checked the conditionof of the coolant temp sensor and the harness connector. The ohms need to be in speck for the specific coolant temp. It is a variable resister.

Have you checked the MAS unit to be in spec

Have you checked the O2 sensors

What about the condition of the air cleaner elements.

Is the cat converter possiby semi clogged

Put a vacuum gage on the intake manifold ( use the balance tube vacuum inlet on the passanger side after you disconnet the small vacuum tube at the corner of the balance tube near the battery. Good engine vacuum is about 19 to 20 in.Hg (my 92 NA is very steady 20in Hg at idle and 21 at 2000 rpm) with a very steady needle. You can check for a blocked exhaust by checking gage response to throttle reving. Refer to a Haynes manual on engine codes for an explaination of vacuum gage testing. The Nissan factory manual also has a section on vacuum gage testing.

Not sure of the plug number but the Nissan dealer should be able to help on that one. I know that they made a number change and the original plug listed in the owners manual has been changed with an NGK replacement

Are you sure the clutch is not slipping? To check put on emergency brake put car in 4th let clutch out slow at engage point the engine should stall.

Check all other connectors for corrosion, clean and fill with dielectric grease to prevent future corrosion. Injector connectors get corroded but are hard to pull off to clean but with patience it is doable. Injector 5 and 6 are the bitch. I use a sharp ice pick to grab the u connector clip and pull it out only 3/4 then use a magnet to grab it after pulling it out all the way. To reattach put the u clip all the way on the connector and push it on the mate end it will snap in place. While the injector connectors are off check the injector for ohm spec they should be 10 to 14 ohms. If out of speck they are needing to be changed. That is a bit of work. I am right in the middle of that operation.

Have you checked the ignition timing setting is 15 degrees BTDC.

Have you checked the compression?

Check and clean that battery terminals and use dielectric grease before putting cable clamps back on,

Continue wih methodic checking and you will be successfull
Only use a digital VOM for checking the sensors
